Unboxing and Positioning

Remove from packaging and place in final location

Inspect packaging for shipping damage
Remove all packing materials
Remove orange transit locks and protective covers
Position in final location with clearance
Level the device using adjustable legs
Install paper cassettes and bypass tray
  • Keep packaging until installation verified
  • Ricoh transit locks are typically orange - remove all before powering on
  • Allow 18 inches clearance on all sides for service access
  • Check weight capacity of floor

Important Warnings

  • Do not power on until all transit locks removed
  • Requires 2-3 people to move safely
