Bypass Tray

A bypass tray is a manual paper feed mechanism that allows you to send special materials directly into the scanner or printer, bypassing the standard paper cassettes. It's essential for printing on materials that are too thick, too thin, or specially sized for regular paper trays - such as cardstock, labels, envelopes, transparencies, or custom-sized media. The bypass tray typically holds 50-150 sheets and provides a straighter paper path to accommodate special media without jamming.
