Bridge Unit / Bridge Kit

A bridge unit or bridge kit is an optional accessory that physically connects a copier to finishing equipment or other add-on devices. It serves as both a physical support and a data connection pathway, allowing the copier to control and communicate with external finishers, large-capacity stackers, booklet makers, or multi-position staplers. Bridge units enable modular expansion of copier capabilities without requiring integrated, built-in finishing equipment.
